HAPPY MOTHERS DAY AND MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH!

As the fall league season comes to a close, I hope everyone enjoyed competing with friends and family. There are only a couple of new releases to jump start the summer league.

Hammer Black Widow Pink

Asymmetrical

Pearl

RG 2.50

Diff 0.058

INT DIFF 0.016

The Black Widow Pink has created a lot of buzz in the market. The aggression CFI pearl cover combined with the widow gas mask core is a great pairing. This ball is very clean through the front part of the lane with strong continuous back end.
Storm Tropical Surge

Symmetrical

Hybrid or Pearl (color dependent)

RG 2.58

Diff 0.024

INT DIFF N/A

The Tropical Surge is an upgrade in the Tropical line. Increasing the differential from .009 to .024 will give this new design stronger back end snap. The increased angle of entry will help the ball carry better. The Black-Cherry and Black-copper are Hybrid covers, providing stronger earlier hook. The Carbon-Chrome, Teal-Blue, Pink-Purple, Violet-Charcoal are Pearl covers. These options will skid longer. This is an excellent choice for drier conditions.
Legend

Cores

Asymmetrical – more track flare, stronger hook off the friction.

Symmetrical – less track flare, longer skid, later hook

Covers

Solid – earlier hook, smoother down lane

Hybrid – medium skid, hooks in the mid-lane

Pearl – longest skid, latest hook

REMEMBER: Your revolution rate and ball speed have a dramatic effect on when and how much your ball hooks. The drilling layout is also an important variable that has an influence on your bowling balls motion. The bowling ball surface can be modified to adjust when your ball hooks. Consult your pro shop for options on matching you to a ball for your needs.
